Delores (Polster) Hinson, age 80, passed away January 4, 2018 at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olney, Texas, with Rev. Sean Reeves, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Delores was born April 9, 1937 in Olney, Texas to the late Richard Frank Polster and Hertha Othelia (Jeske) Polster. She worked in various banks for a total of 33 years, including Olney Savings and First American Bank as Vice President of Banking Services. She then worked for Ft. Belknap Electric Coop as the Manager of Finance and Accounting from 1994 until she retired in 2007. Delores was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olney, Texas, where she worked as church secretary for several years. She married Frank Edward Hinson on August 17, 1957. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2014. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Duane Larry Polster.

Delores is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: Alan and Donna Hinson of Olney and Kyle and Julie Hinson of Olney; five grandchildren: Steven Hinson and wife Erin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Stacie Hinson and Joe Armendarez of Wichita Falls, Texas, Sarah Moore and husband Patrick of Benbrook, Texas, Carter Hinson of Olney and Ellie Hinson of Olney; seven great-grandchildren: Braelyn, Mason, Teagan, Ava, Preston, JoJo and Lily. She is also survived by one brother, Delmer Richard Polster and wife Sandra of Benbrook, Texas; two sisters, Erlene F. (Polster) Stolk of Littlefield, Texas and Lynette F. (Polster) Lackey of Wichita Falls, Texas; and sister-in-law, Joyce Polster of Amarillo, Texas.
