Dewie Wester Escue, age 92, of Olney, Texas, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Olney Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton St. Church of Christ in Olney officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Dewie was born March 31, 1920 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico to the late H.F. and Willie Ann Hudson Weatherbee. She and Dan Wester, Jr. were married December 23, 1936 in Newcastle, Texas. He preceded her in death November 4, 1971. She married Burnice Escue on March 31, 1986 in Olney, Texas. He preceded her in death March 24, 1998. Dewie was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She was a member of the Hamilton St. Church of Christ in Olney. Dewie is also preceded in death by her son Dewey Calvin Wester, her daughter Jo Wester Fry, and her sister Margie Dunsworth.

Dewie is survived by her two grandsons: Bill Fry, Jr., and Dwight Calvin Wester one granddaughter, Deann Wester one greatgranddaughter, Hannah Wester and two stepsons, Kenneth Escue, and Richard Escue.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 5:007:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
