Coppell, Texas ~ Diana Gayle Thompson Sheets "NUNU", age 59, passed away March 1, 2018 at Medical City-Plano in Plano, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at One Community Church, 2150 Texas 121 Bus., Lewisville, Texas 75067. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Diana was born on August 13, 1958 in Olney, Texas to the late John Columbus Thompson and Fannie Ellen (Scales) Thompson. She graduated from Olney High School in 1976. She was a retired Program Coordinator for Physician Clinical Education. Diana truly lived for her children and was a dedicated grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Charles Thompson.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Ray and Mary Sheets of Eagle Mountain Lake, Texas; one daughter, Andy Sheets of Coppell, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Brian and Carol Thompson of Montgomery, Texas and Larry and Nancy Thompson of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren: Mason Sheets and Katherine Sheets, both of Eagle Mountain Lake, Texas and Payton Sears of Coppell, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
