Dimple Patton Nunley, age 96, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas, with James "Bud" Nunley of the Silverado Cowboy Church in Weatherford, Texas, officiating. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Whitt Cemetery in Whitt, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Dimple was born March 18, 1920 in Whitt, Texas in Parker County to the late Temple Texas Patton and Dora (Cox) Patton. She moved to Olney in 1953 and was the owner/operator of Dimple's Beauty Shop for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olney. She married Harvey Nunley on March 24, 1950 in Jacksboro, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1993. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, T. J. Patton and Jack Patton.

Survivors include her two sons, Gerald Nunley and wife Judy of Perrin, Texas and Richard Nunley of Olney, Texas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
