Dolores Lea Gober Rees was born on September 9, 1945 in Mineral Wells, Texas and passed from this earth on February 19, 2021 at Olney Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Due to her request made prior to her death, services are pending at this time.

She was raised in Colorado City, Texas, where she was an avid barrel racer and participated in band and all things rodeo. She married Robert Edwin Rees on July 6, 1964. She was a secretary, dispatcher, jailer, cashier, accounting clerk and many more things, but the most important job she excelled at was being a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Laylon Gober and Ruby Bourland; her beloved step father, Jack Bourland; and her husband, Robert Rees.

She leaves behind her daughter and husband, Robin and Henry Montgomery; step son and wife, Greg and Darla Rees; four grandsons, Robert and Jennifer Montgomery, John and Tera Montgomery, Jonathon Rees and Jarrett Rees; three brothers, one sister, numerous great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
