Dora Mae (Dunlap) Crosthwait, age 97, passed away December 16, 2023, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at First Baptist Church Olney with Dr. Chad Edgington, pastor, officiating.  Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Dora Mae was born on March 24, 1926, in Cottle County, Texas to the late William Otha Dunlap and Lille Mae (Porter) Dunlap. She married W.T. "Bill" Crosthwait on September 28, 1946, in Olney, Texas. She lived in Olney most of her life and had lived in Lawton the past few years. Dora Mae was a member of First Baptist Church Olney where she was active in the WMU program and had previously taught 5th grade girls Sunday school. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was an excellent seamstress.

Dora Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill Crosthwait; two brothers: Martin Dunlap and Billy Dunlap; a grandson, Eric Duckworth; and two sons-in-law: Bob Hanson and Larry Armstrong.

Dora Mae is survived by her four daughters: Shirley Hanson of Lawton, Oklahoma, Ila Duckworth of Plano, Texas, Dela Armstrong of Wichita Falls, Texas and Vera Kirton and husband David of Magna, Utah; eleven grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
