Duretta Jaques, age 71, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at United Regional Health Care Center in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Duretta Kay Reynolds was born on June 22, 1953, in Basin, Wyoming, to the late Harold and Mary Alice (Summer) Reynolds.  She married Dennis Jaques in November of 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Duretta worked for over thirty years as a certified nursing assistant before she retired from Grace Care Center of Olney. She liked to watch Facebook and cooking videos during her downtime at home. Duretta enjoyed going to the casino and playing slot machines. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family, dogs, and cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ronald, Martin, and Sherman Reynolds; her daughter, Shelby Gober; her grandson, Donaven Gober; and the father of her children, Eddie Gober.

Duretta is survived by her husband, Dennis Jaques; her three brothers, Jay Reynolds, Perry Reynolds, and Ben Reynolds; her sister, Shirley Bell; her daughter, Amanda Gober; her five grandchildren, Thomas Freeman, James Freeman, Samantha Gober, Ryan Canada, and Tristan Gober, and her great-granddaughter Rose Gober.
