Eddie Carroll Cooper, 87, passed away October 15, 2016 at his home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Olney, officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Eddie was born on December 3, 1928 in Archer City, Texas to the late Bert Albert Cooper and Louise Cathren (Lowack) Cooper. He had worked in the oilfield. He married Norma Taylor on July 3, 1993 in Las Vegas, NV. He moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 2015 from Olney. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louise Cathleen and Bert Albert Cooper, 2 brothers, Marvin Thomas and Clyde Wilton Cooper, his sister, Patsy Louise Clark, and wife, Flakey Jo Cooper.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Norma Louise Cooper of Wichita Falls, TX, his 4 daughters, Bertie Carol Mitchell of Alabama, Edie De'Carroll Acuna of Olney, TX, Jeanie La'Cherryll Esparza of Olney, TX, Rebecca Jo Williams of Roanoke, TX, 2 step-daughters, Lorena Carol Plant of Olney, TX, Linda Louise Giner of Graham, TX, 2 step-son, Duane Curtis Welty of Utah, Brian Lee Welty of Utah, 2 brothers, Donald Ray Cooper, Sr. of Oklahoma, Jerry Wayne Cooper of Wichita Falls, TX, 24 Grandchildren, and 46 Great-Grandchildren.
