Edna Earl Arnold, age 96, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Restland Cemetery in Olney with Reverend Harrell Braddock, Jr.,  Pastor of Olney First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Edna was born to the late Earley Lee and Pauline (Jones) Arnold on September 30, 1927, in Archer County, Texas. Edna graduated from Throckmorton High School in 1945, and continued her education at McMurry College in Abilene, Texas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1949. In 1953, Edna moved to Wichita Falls and was an active and loyal member of the First United Methodist Church there. Edna enjoyed gardening outdoors and also indoors with her plants.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Earley and Pauline (Jones) Arnold, her sisters, Jeanett Davis and JoAn Key, and brother-in-law Troy Davis.

Edna is survived by her nieces and nephews: Lydia Barrett and Richard Denney of Norman, Oklahoma; Robert and Kristine Barrett of Socorro, New Mexico; Suzanna Barrett Terrell of Wichita Falls, Texas; Paula Davis Cheek of Weatherford, Texas; Patsy and Pat Evans of Pocatello, Idaho; her brother-in-law, Clifton Key of Wichita Falls, Texas; and ten great-nieces and great-nephews.
