Archer City ~ Elda Mae Froman, age 91, died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Archer City Nursing Home in Archer City, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Megargel Cemetery in Megargel, Texas with Reverend Paul DeLuca, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Elda was born on October 1, 1923 in Archer County, Texas to the late D. L. Bishop and Bertha (Stillwell) Bishop. She married Cleybrun O. Froman, Jr. on June 5, 1943 in Walters, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2001. She had worked at the Wichita Falls State Hospital and later as a veterinarian assistant for fifteen years. She moved to Megargel in 1986 from Archer City and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Megargel. Elda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister.

Elda is survived by her two daughters, Judy Yoakum and Glenda Bowen both of Archer City, Texas; brother, O'Dell Bishop of Wichita Falls, Texas; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
