Elese Furr McDougal, age 68, died Monday, August, 22, 2011, at her home in Newcastle, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Brother Dave Autry of Graham, Texas officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Elese was born Donna Elese Furr on September 27, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Ellis and Juanita Hankins Furr. She and John McDougal were married on March 11, 1994 in Graham, Texas. Elese had lived in Newcastle most of her life and had been a licensed vocational nurse for numerous years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a chartered member of the Graham39s Women39s Club. Elese was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Newcastle. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998 and her father.

Survivors include her mother, Juanita Furr of Newcastle, Texas a son Brian Watson and wife Kathy of Graham, Texas several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
