Obituary
Olney Elizabeth Thornton, age 92, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Olney. Memorial services will be held at a later date under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Elizabeth was born October 17, 1918 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Ernest G. and Anne McNaulty Renfro Thornton. She was a computer analyst in the oil industry. Ms. Thornton was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Olney. She moved to Olney in 1965 from Houston, Texas. Elizabeth is preceded in death by a brother John E. Thornton, and by a sister Agnes Bird.
Ms. Thornton is survived by her brother Robert Thornton and wife Carol of Weatherford, Texas and two nieces, Jamie Thornton of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Patty Boehme of Wichita Falls, Texas.
