Elnora Britt, age 85, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Reverend Dave Autry, Jr. of Graham, Texas, officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Elnora was born on March 27, 1929 in Cumby, Texas to the late Lee Edward and Jewel (Nelson) White. She moved to Olney in 1952 from Bonham, Texas and was a member of the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. Elnora loved her church and was very active, serving in many roles. She was a housekeeper in Olney for many loved residents, but most of all, she was devoted to her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Elbert White, Hilton White, Willie Wilbert White, and Euris White; and, two sisters: Occie McGill and Marie Harvey.

Elnora is survived by her son, Mederra Britt, Jr. of Olney; her daughter, Angela Britt of Olney; four sisters: Lorine Hunter and husband W.T. of Quitman, Lee Ester Bennett and husband Richard of Olney, Dimple King of Dallas and Shirley Clark and husband Fred of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
