Eloisa Torres, age 72, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home in Olney, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 26, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Southside Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., with Eddie Joe Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Eloisa was born on July 31, 1952, in Alice, Texas, to the late Jose and Guadalupe (Guerra) Herebia. She moved to Olney in 1960 from Seymour, Texas. Eloisa married Felix Torres, Jr., on June 7, 1969, in Olney, Texas, and they enjoyed going dancing together. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and going to the casino. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. Her favorite television shows were "The Waltons" and "Walker, Texas Ranger."

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Felix Torres, III., two brothers, Jose Herebia and Avelino "B.V." Herebia, and her sister Herlinda Fuentes.

Eloisa is survived by her husband, Felix Torres, Jr. of Olney, Texas; her two sons, Ruben Torres of Olney, Texas, and Jose Torres of Abilene, Texas; her two daughters and one son-in-law, Malinda Elizondo and husband Pete of Olney, Texas, and Frances Hance of Olney, Texas, her three brothers: Ricky Herebia of Olney, Texas, Mike Herebia of Olney, Texas, and Robert Herebia of Midland, Texas, her sister Sylvia Gonzalez of Midland, Texas, fourteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren with one on the way. Eloisa also had numerous bonus grandchildren and her grand-dog Molly.
