Elton C. Blair, age 70, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at his home in Newcastle, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery in Haskell, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mr. Blair was born to the late Doyle and Almeda Caldwell Blair on October 3, 1941 in Parker County, Texas. He had been a mechanic. Elton loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed looking for arrowheads. Elton was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Gary Don and Johnny L. Blair.

Survivors include Lee Blair his two sons: E.C. Blair and wife Lisa of Graham, Texas, Robby Blair and wife Sherry of Newcastle, Texas his brother, D.A. Blair and wife Carroll of Odessa, Texas his sister, Zora Woods and husband Mike of Pittsburgh, Texas seven grandchildren: Chris, Aaron, Taylor Kay, Randi, Shaye, Robbi, and Ryan three great grandchildren: Trenton, Brilye, Greenleigh, and two more to arrive soon also numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, September 14, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
