Emily AnnMarie Leatherwood, age 21, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, with Carter Pirtle, Youth Pastor of First Baptist Church in Olney, officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery near Bryson, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Emily was born October 4, 1990 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Ricky and Kathy Butler Leatherwood. She had just recently graduated from South Plains Community College in Levelland. Emily was here for a short time but lived every second to the fullest She brought love and life to everyone she met and was loved by all. We will all miss her beautiful red hair, angel kisses, dimples, smile and contagious laughter. Emily was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olney and the Experience Life Church in Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Deuard Leatherwood and Martin Butler.

Emily is survived by her parents, Kathy and Ricky Leatherwood of Brownfield, Texas her sister, Libby Payne and husband Mitch of Lubbock, Texas her brother Joshua and wife Nikki of Midland, Texas both grandmothers: Mattie Marie Butler Creswell of Graham, Texas, and Stella Leatherwood of Bryson, Texas also two nephews: Grayson and Graham Leatherwood.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 68 p.m. at the funeral home.
