Eric Fields, age 64, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Graham Oaks Care Center in Graham, Texas. The family will be hosting a service at the Southside Baptist Church in Olney on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Eric was born on April 11, 1961, in Olney, Texas, to the late L.C. and Mary (Watson) Fields. He was a graduate of Olney High School and was a good football player in high school. Eric worked as a farmer and enjoyed riding horses and attending rodeos. In his free time, Eric enjoyed going fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, L.C. and Manon Fields, his mother and step-father Mary (Watson) Myrick and Don, and his nephew Chad Fields.

Eric is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Erica Fields and Chris Willingham of Olney, Texas, his brother James Fields of Olney, Texas, his sister Thresa Bolden of Springtown, Texas, his step-brother Ron and Theresa Myrick of Electra, Texas, his step-sister Kathy Myrick of Graham, Texas, his nephews Bodie Beaman and Ryder May, and his grandchildren: Kristen Fields, Aubrey Willingham, and Lane Myrick.
