Esther Geraldine Dalrymple, age 87, died Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Olney, Texas with Gary Torian officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Esther Geraldine was born on September 29, 1923 in Jean, Texas to the late James Ethan and Annie Esther Wall Johnson. She and Alfred Terrell quotJackquot Dalrymple were married on January 1, 1946 in Loving, Texas. They moved to Olney in 1946 from Jean, Texas. She was a retired bookkeeper, and had served on the Olney Cemetery Association Board of Directors for twentyfour years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney, and kept the nursery there for thirtyseven years. She was preceded in death by her husband quotJackquot on August 6, 1984, a brother Jim Johnson on December 25, 2004, and a sister LaRue Hyatt on March 9, 2004.

Survivors include her son Mike Dalrymple of Weatherford, Texas her daughter Becky Dalrymple of Olney, Texas grandson Jeff Dalrymple and wife Summar of Carrollton, Texas granddaughter Lesley Doll and husband John of Holliston, Massachusetts a great grandson Ryan Doll and a great granddaughter Kennah Dalrymple.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 67 p.m. at the funeral home.
