Obituary
Florence McAnally Toole, age 96, of Olney, Texas, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Olney, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Gary Torian of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Florence was born July 22, 1914 in Archer County, Texas, to the late Frank and Effie Holley McAnally. She was married to Virble Foster and in 1963 to John Lampkin Toole, Jr. both preceded her in death. She retired in 1979 from Sheppard Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit after 19 years of devoted service. She was past matron of Olney Order of Eastern Star Lodge 321, past president of Olney Sorosis Club, and served twice as president of Region XII Vocational Nurses of Wichita Falls. She was also past president of the Texas State Association of Licensed Vocational Nurses. Florence was an active volunteer for the Olney Bloodmobile for many years. She was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of Olney and served actively in various areas. Florence was preceded in death by a grandson Steve Alan Talbott and two brothers Clark McAnally and Lloyd McAnally.
She is survived by two daughters Virblene Talbott of Olney, Texas, Wilma York and husband J.C. of Olney, Texas five grandchildren Stan Talbott of Snyder, Texas, Stacy Talbott Walker and husband Mike of Brentwood, Tennessee, Phillip York and wife Diane of Earth, Texas, Kathy York Shifflett and husband Danny of Olney, Texas, Wesley York and wife Hope of Liberty, Texas, and Jana Talbott of Ft. Worth, Texas one brother Frank McAnally, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Texas twelve great grandchildren John Talbott, Chase Talbott, Thomas Talbott and wife Christina, Aaron Talbott, Michael Talbott, Stephanie Talbott, John Walker, Ambria Walker, Shelley York Bills and husband Curt, Jacy York, D.J. Shifflett, and Tanner Shifflett two greatgreat grandchildren Garrett and Colby Talbott.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 6:00 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
