Frances Parker Green, age 96, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home in Wolfforth, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Frances was born June 9, 1920 in Brady, Texas to the late Davis Shirley Parker and Frances Elizabeth (Hill) Parker. She married George Green on November 20, 1937 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1998. Frances was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfforth, Texas, past member of the Hamilton Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Sorosis Club and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Hereford, Texas. She moved to Olney in 1986 from Hereford, Texas, and then moved to Wolfforth, Texas in 2008 to be near family.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren: Terry and Russ Green, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons: Melvin R. Green and wife Pat of Breckenridge, Texas and David Green and wife Sherry of Vega, Texas; one daughter, Linda Robinson of Wolfforth, Texas; one sister, Shirley Wontland of Kyle, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home.
