Gene Franklin Creswell, Jr., age 65, died May 6, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside memorial services with inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro, Texas with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Gene was born November 21, 1949 in Graham, Texas. He served his country proudly in the United States Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He married Dixie Lewis on November 9, 1975 in Graham. He moved to Olney in 1999. Gene was preceded in death by a son, Craig Creswell and a brother, Mark Creswell.

Gene is survived by his wife, Dixie Creswell of Olney; one daughter, Cherie Creswell and Brittney Williams of Olney; father, Gene Creswell, Sr. of Graham; mother, Joanna Creswell of Olney; five grandchildren: McKinsey Cantrell and Kelsey Creswell both of Denton, Dawson Creswell of Jacksboro, Alexandria Williams and McKinlee Williams both of Olney; four sisters: Marsha Creswell, Cindy Creswell, Carolyn Creswell, Debbie Cooper; and two brothers: Mike Creswell and Dave Creswell.
