Geneva Cribbs Timmons, age 95, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Scotte Clark, of Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in the Elbert Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Geneva was born on August 22, 1921 in Elbert, Texas to the late William Rufus Bludworth and Linnie Malinda (Lilly) Bludworth. She was a homemaker and former member of the Throckmorton Church of Christ and most recently was a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ in Olney. She was lifetime resident of Throckmorton County. She married Floyd Cribbs on October 30, 1936 in Olney. He preceded her in death on August 19, 1995. She later married Walter Timmons on June 29, 1998 in Throckmorton.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, O C Floyd Cribbs; a sister, Dovie Valta Good, and a brother, James William Bludworth.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Timmons of Woodson, Texas; two daughters: Floy Sue Hulsey and husband Alvin of Joshua, Texas, and Sherron Jean Manuel and husband Jerry of Elbert, Texas; one son, Larry A. Cribbs and wife Kathleen of Elbert, Texas; one sister, Joe Ann Love of Mobeetie, Texas; one step-brother, Hollis McClane of Breckenridge, Texas; eleven grandchildren: Bobby, Raphel, Cathy, Rusty, Leisa, Duain, Anissa, Kent, Susan, Rodger, Sherri; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Monday prior to the funeral service.
