George Hall Roach III, age 70, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Olney, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Lee Wiley Burch of Newcastle officiating assisted by Gary Tull of Graham, Texas. Burial will follow in the Oak Glenn Cemetery at Graford, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

George was born June 24, 1941 in Olney, Texas to George Hall Roach II and Peggy Holmes. He was a welder. George was a lifetime resident of Olney. He was a member of the National Guard. George was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Nina Gail Anz.

Survivors include his wife Annette Roach of Olney, Texas two daughters: Tracey Shoesmith and husband Mark of China Spring, Texas, Robin Brenegar and husband Mike of McGregor, Texas four grandchildren: Railey Shoesmith, Marshall Shoesmith, Taylor Whitaker, and Rylie Brenegar nephew Jim Anz and wife Gina of Olney, Texas.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
