Obituary
George Edward Sherman, age 76, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, July, 26, 2013 at the Olney Sr. Cub Center.
George was born on March 17, 1937 in Glenn Falls, New York. He moved to Olney from Ft. Worth in 2011. He had worked as a security guard.
George was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his son, George E. Sherman, Jr. of Hopeville, Georgia ; his daughter, Diane Sherman of Eastpoint, Georgia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
