George Stewart, age 81, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Restland Cemetery with Chad Edgington, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

George was born on February 4, 1936 in Vernal, Utah to Josh and Levi (Harris) Stewart. He married Nora Jean Crawford on July 18, 1965 in Amarillo, Texas. He moved to Holliday in 2008 from Olney. George was retired from the trucking business. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law, Keith Cooper; three brothers: Clifford Stewart, Charles Stewart, Glenn Stewart; and one sister, Darlene Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Jean Stewart of Holliday, Texas; three daughters: Marguerite Cooper of Megargel, Texas, Tresia Shook of Olney, Texas, Carrie Alford and husband Rick of Iowa Park, Texas; one son, Shotgun Stewart and wife Jessica of Holliday, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Lori Stewart of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Mae Haligan of Salt Lake City, Utah; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
