Georgia Fortenberry, 72, died on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Brian Wadley, officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Georgia was born on May 19, 1949 in Olney, Texas to the late James Floyd and V. Marie (Martin) Yarbrough. She was a housewife and moved to Seymour in 1978 from Graham. Georgia liked to visit with people and she enjoyed riding her three wheel bicycle. She had attended the Olney Family Worship Center before moving into Grace Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Fortenberry, and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Ferguson and Lisa Cozby.

Georgia is survived by three brothers; Joe Yarbrough of Graham, Texas, James David Yarbrough, and Alvin Cecil Yarbrough. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
