Gerald Dee Gough

Gerald Dee Gough, age 69, passed away at his home on January 3, 2026. Family visitation will be held at Lunn Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Gerald was born on April 18, 1956, to Gerald Wayne and Jenita “Jen” (Scott) Gough in Olney, Texas. He married Jerelene Guice on October 14, 1995, in Fredonia, Texas. Gerald most recently worked as a truck driver; he also worked in the prison system for a time. In his free time, he truly loved hunting and fishing. When he lived in West Texas, Gerald’s favorite job was working on ranches and breaking horses. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Wayne Gough.

Gerald is survived by his mother Jenita “Jen” Gough of Olney, Texas, his wife Jerelene Gough of Wichita Falls, Texas, his two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi Diehl and husband Rob of Chino Hills, California, and Michelle Lowder and husband Eric of Santa Fe, Texas, his stepson Jason Lowe and wife Jenny, his two sisters and brothers-in-law, June Scripps and husband Jimmy of Fredonia, Texas and Linda Markham and husband Eddy of Eden, Texas. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
