Obituary
Gerald Dean Kee, age 70 of Olney, Texas, died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Gerald was born March 19, 1949 in Olney, Texas to the late Joe B. Kee and Mary Ellen (Easley) Kee. He served his country proudly in the United States Army and was very patriotic. He was a hard worker all his life and had been a farmer, trucker, welder, and worked in the oilfield. Gerald loved woodworking, tinkering, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers: Freddie, Teddy, Tommy, Richard and Willie.
Gerald is survived by one sister, Sandra Halverson of Olney; one brother, Ben Kee of Olney; five daughters, Gidget Miller of Seymour, Texas, Heidi Deady of Odessa, Texas, Mary Lanski of Beaufort, South Carolina, Melissa Owen of Fort Drum, New York, Ashley Kee of Manhattan, Kansas; and ten grandchildren, Destiny, Tanner, Tyler, Cody, Sierra, Elizabeth, Charlea, Kailie, Lucas and Boston.
