Obituary

Glen D. Tatum, age 62 of Megargel, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church of Olney officiating. Interment will follow at Megargel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Glen was born on December 27, 1959, in Fort Jackson, South Carolina to the late Dave Andrew Tatum and Ellen Louise (McCuistian) Tatum. He was a lifetime resident of Megargel. He was a former employee of Stewart's Food Store and recently retired from Tower Extrusions. Glen was an avid Bible reader and loved the Lord. He was a very kind and loving person and got along with everybody. He loved to go fishing. Glen enjoyed spending time with his family and was especially close to his nephew David.

Glen is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Kim Tatum of Pampa, Texas; one nephew, David Andrew Tatum and his wife Jennifer of Pampa, Texas; two great-nephews: Daken Andrew Tatum and Joshua David Tatum.; and one great-niece, Lorelei Diane Tatum of Pampa, Texas.
