Glenn Allen York, age 64, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Glenn Allen was born on May 31, 1950 in Olney, Texas to Glenn Henry York and Ruby Pearl (Dodson) York. He was a lifelong resident of Olney. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He loved fishing and hunting all of his life and enjoyed it greatly.

Glenn Allen was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Patricia Ann Hall.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Clayton of Olney; brother, Leo York of Olney; two sons: Robert Glenn York of Mineral Wells, SFC Brandy York and wife Miki, stationed in North Carolina; and his grandchildren: Kiera Stevens, Joshua York, Victoria York and Shion York.
