Gracie Blackburn, age 74, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at her home in Olney, Texas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clark, minister of Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Gracie was born on September 25, 1947 in Cleburne, Texas to the late John C. Hines and Willie (Revis) Hines. She was a Nurses Aid and enjoyed her time working at Kennedale Nursing Home and Seven Oaks Nursing Home. She married Lawrence Blackburn on November 12, 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2003. She moved from Forth Worth to Olney in 1982 and was a member of Hamilton Street Church of Christ. Gracie was a very loving and giving person and she loved to visit with people.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Paula Owen; her grandson, Matthew McFarland; three brothers: James Alvin Hines, Douglas Hines and Claude Carlton Hines; and two sisters: Roselle Pacina and Qualla Dillon.

Gracie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Jessie and Cricket McFarland of Burneyville, Oklahoma and Chuck and Jennifer McMillian of North Richland Hills, Texas; one sister, Evelynn Hines of Granbury, Texas; six grandchildren: Josh McFarland and wife Amanda of Cleburne, Texas, Casey Olguin of Waco, Texas, Jacob McFarland and wife Kayleigh of Burneyville, Oklahoma, Delbert Pikes and Kelsi Crisp of Glen Rose, Texas, Chase McMillian of North Richland Hills, Texas and Callen McMillian of Bryan, Texas; and ten great-grandchildren: Kassidy Jefferson, Reanna McFarland, Jesse Ray McFarland, Alicia McFarland, Cali Pikes, Kelis Pikes, Asa James McFarland, Aria  Jane McFarland, Sahara and Emmalynn.
