Funeral services for Henry Seedig, 90, of Olney, Texas will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Halamka and Pastor Gary Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mr. Seedig was born July 21, 1922 in Clifton, Texas to the late Richard and Sophie Seedig. He died Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Olney Hamilton Hospital.

He and Leola Schlegel were married in 1946 in Albany, Texas.

Mr. Seedig attended public schools in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. He was a farmer and rancher and lived on the family farm outside of Olney for sixty-five years. He supplemented his agricultural income by owning and working at various service stations in Olney. His favorite hobby was restoring Ford Model A antique automobiles. He was a lifelong Lutheran and currently a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Graham, Texas.

Survivors include his daughter, Terri Holbert of Olney; a son, Larry Seedig and wife Linda of Lewisville, Texas; two grandsons, Lyle Seedig and wife Julie of Carrollton, Texas, and Landry Seedig and wife Jamie of Coppell, Texas; and, six great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Brett, Crew, Brooke, Presley, and Taylor.

Mr. Seedig was preceded in death by his parents, wife Leola and eleven siblings.
