Howard Story, age 85, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, in Graham, Texas. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012, followed by interment at the Padgett Cemetery near Olney, Texas with Tommy Searcy of Cleburne, Texas officiating. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Howard was born on August 23, 1926 in Terry County, Texas to the late Frank and Elsie Trotter Story. Howard went to school in Andrews, Texas and graduated. He married Lynda Burns on July 3, 1994 in Odessa, Texas. Howard was an area rancher all of his life. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda on September 24, 2007 and his two brothers Douglas and Milton Story.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Story from Krum, Texas a son Bill Story of Possum Kingdom, Texas two sisters, Florene Shanks of Comanche, Texas and Floella Dickinson of Decatur, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of one39s choice.
