Hubert J. Gray, age 76, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the Olney Senior Cub Center.

Hubert was born on August 24, 1946, in Olney, Texas to the late Hubert Gray and Ruth (Hilley) Gray. He was a lifetime resident of Olney and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He and Linda Garner were married on December 18, 1964, in Olney. He owned and operated Gray's Auto and Repair for many years. Hubert loved old cars and loved to fish and hunt. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was known as a kind hearted man and will be missed by his family and many friends.

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Billy Schafer, Kenneth Gray, Jackie Gray and Gary Michael Gray.

Hubert is survived by his wife, Linda Gray of Olney, Texas; one daughter, Sherry Kriegshauser and husband Ed of Farmington, New Mexico; one son, Kevin Gray of Olney, Texas; four grandchildren: David Kriegshauser of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Derek Kriegshauser of Poteau, Oklahoma, Devin Kriegshauser of Farmington, New Mexico, Joshua Gray of Olney, Texas; five great-grandchildren: Grace, Jacob, Kynlee, Kason, Kallen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
