Obituary

Inis Katherine Jentsch, age 87, died Monday, December 17, 2018 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas with Eddie Chennault, of Gainesville, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Inis was born on August 27, 1931 in Ryan, Oklahoma to the late Henry Jackson Smith and Alpha May (Sewell) Smith. She married Edgar LaFrance Wade in Dodge City, Texas. After he passed away, she later married Herbert Jentsch. Inis was a hard worker and she was a retired waitress at Luby's. She loved to sew and to iron and was an avid crossword puzzle and picture puzzle worker. She also loved to go fishing. Inis was a happy go lucky person and loved her family, especially her sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, and four sisters: Opal Jewel Monahans, Frances Coppage, Vida May Hawkins and Wilma Florentine.

Survivors include her three daughters: Corlis Wade of Austin, Texas, Neta Wade of Wichita Falls, Texas, Kathey Roberts of Wichita Falls, Texas; one son, Eddie Wade of Olney, Texas; one sister, Wilda Oesch of Terrell, Texas; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
