Irene DeLa Cruz Holmes, age 51, died Saturday, March 7, 2015. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Farmer Cemetery in Farmer, Texas with John Garvey, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Lunn Funeral Home.

Irene was born on January 22, 1964 in Lubbock, Texas to Juan V. DeLa Cruz and Santos Castillo DeLa Cruz. While living in Lubbock, she was a bounty hunter. She moved to Loving in 2001 from Lubbock. Irene was a cowgirl who loved ranching.

Survivors include her parents: Juan and Santos DeLa Cruz; spouse, Gabriel Garcia of Loving, Texas; daughters: Crystal Robertson and husband Tommy of Anton, Texas and Amanda Alvarado of Lubbock, Texas; brothers: Juan DeLa Cruz, Jr., Charlie DeLa Cruz, Javier DeLa Cruz, Willie DeLa Cruz, Juaquin DeLa Cruz; sisters: Solie Castilleja, Victoria Perry, Micaela DeLa Cruz; grandchildren: Aiden, Gavin, Payton and Kameron.
