Isabelle Martin O'Brien, age 64, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Olney, Texas. Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Olney with Father Eugene Nyong, officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019 in the Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, New York. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Isabelle was born on January 21, 1955 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Fernand Martin and Annette Rita Martin. She graduated from Boston University with her Master's Degree in Social Work and she had a lifelong work of helping people. She married Michael O'Brien on July 27, 1985 in Loring AFB, Maine. Isabelle moved to Olney in 1994 from Abilene, Texas and continued her Social Work career. She especially loved to make new born baby blankets for Olney Hamilton Hospital. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Olney. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Arthur Martin.

Isabelle is survived by her husband, Michael O'Brien of Olney; her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen M. and Amanda O'Brien of Carrollton, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Hale Gambill of Wichita Falls, Texas; five sisters, Marie Williams of Watertown, Maine, Anne Bochneiwicz of Hartford, Connecticut, Rolande Phillips of Yorktown, Virginia, Gabrielle Martin of Florida and Michelle Sprague of Maine; two grandchildren, Mary Catherine O'Brien of Carrollton, Texas and Owen Gambill of Wichita Falls, Texas.
