Iva Lorene Burt, age 99, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Claude Hendricks of Wichita Falls, Texas officiating assisted by Stephen Winner of Olney Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Lynn Creek Cemetery near Jermyn, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Iva was born May 19, 1912 in Merit, Texas, to the late Lemuel Clay and Nancy Anne Owen Price. She and Roy W. Burt were married on May 19, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Iva was a homemaker and a member of Olney Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on August 9 1992, a brother Carl Price, a daughter Lora Mae Wright, a son Troy Leon Burt and four grandchildren: Iva Herebia, Roy Edgar Osborn, Annie Rachel Morgan, and Rodney Allen Burt.

Iva is survived by sons: James Burt of Saginaw, Texas, L.C. Burt and wife Ann of Frisco, Texas daughters: Dorcas Roach of Electra, Texas, Cora Anderson and husband Edward of Olney, Texas, and Minnie Turner of Frisco, Texas thirteen grandchildren, twentyfive great grandchildren, fourteen greatgreat grandchildren, and five greatgreatgreat grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 6:00 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
