Jackie Dunn, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at
Grace Care Center in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Jackie was born on December 9, 1931 in Whitesboro, Texas, to the late Jack Hammond and Alma (Phelps) Hammond. She married Homer Ish Dunn on April 19, 1948 in Olney. She moved to Olney in 1960 from Odessa and was a long-time member of Southside Baptist Church in Olney. Jackie was an excellent seamstress and loved to crochet. She also liked to do crafts and spent a lot of time in her shop building birdhouses and other craft items. She loved to work in her yard and garden and loved feeding the wild animals. She always had great stories to tell, but was able to listen even better. Jackie loved her family dearly and will be missed by everyone.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ish Dunn on September 9, 2015; two sisters: Inez Smith and Reta Faye Keng; and one brother, Kenneth Hammond.

Jackie is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Ish and Sveta Dunn of Forney, Texas; one grandson, Yaroslav Cueva of Forney, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Yevonne and Larry Perry of Olney; twelve nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
