Jan Turner, age 63, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clark, minister of Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Jan was born on October 28, 1959, in Olney, Texas to the late James Carr, Jr. and Geneva Joyce (Clifton) Carr. She was a lifetime resident of Olney and a member of Hamilton Street Church of Christ. She married Randy Turner on December 1, 1978 in Olney. Jan was the Day Care Director for Olney Independent School District. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a servant's heart and she loved to travel. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sandra Cox.

Jan is survived by her husband, Randy Turner of Olney, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law: Tye Turner and wife Sara of Wichita Falls, Texas and Blake Turner and wife Lisa of Ector, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Malia Cawthon and husband Ryan of Olney, Texas; six grandchildren: Palmer Turner, Rhyder Cawthon, Luke Turner, Titus Turner, Raylee Cawthon and Landry Turner; two sisters: Lana Ickert and Donna Neal; as well as several nieces and nephews.
