Jerry Don Gandy

Olney ~ Jerry Don Gandy, 76, died on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Jerry was born on February 11, 1938, in McCamey, Texas, to the late Pinkey Raymond and Doris Geneva (Simmons) Gandy. Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He was an oilfield equipment salesman, a member of the Olney Masonic Lodge #290, and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. He moved back to Olney in 2000 from Cross Plains, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Gary Raymond Gandy.

Jerry is survived by two sons: David Gandy and wife Stacy of Richardson, Texas, and Jerry Michael Gandy and wife Brandi of Linden, Michigan; one daughter, Becky Garvin and husband James of Cibolo, Texas; seven grandchildren: Cierra Goebel and husband Derrick of San Antonio, Texas, Ashton Cox, Aubree Cox, Brandon Garvin, and Andrew Garvin, all of San Antonio, Texas, Lilly Gandy, and Ally Gandy, both of Linden, Michigan; two brothers: Larry Gandy, and wife Judy of Olney, Texas, and Michael David Gandy, and wife Bobbie of Breckenridge, Texas; one sister-in-law, Ida Gandy of Amarillo, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
