Jerry Ray Masten, age 79, died peacefully at his home on Friday, September 8, 2017. Family memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.

Jerry was born September 21, 1937 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a retired truck driver. Jerry loved all God's creatures. He enjoyed being around people, and loved to laugh, cutup and joke around with everyone. He brought joy to everyone he met. He was always proud of his three girls, and loved them dearly. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Masten and Norma (Chapman) Masten; his biological mother, Evie (Butler) Ingram; one half brother, Alan Ingram; and two grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his three daughters: Jena Wadley and husband Brian of Olney, Texas, Judy Martin and husband David of Benbrook, Texas, Jana Kirby of Watauga, Texas; one half-brother, Jerry Ingram of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Junior.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
