Jerry Glen Smith
Olney ~ Jerry Glen Smith, age 49, died Friday, March 21, 2014, at his home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Larry Milhollon, of Graham, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Jerry was born on September 28, 1964 in Olney, Texas to Gerald and Jenell Smith. He was a lifelong resident of Olney and a member of the Baptist church. Jerry worked in healthcare facilities as a dietary cook. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.
Jerry is survived by his mother Jenell Smith of Olney, Texas; two brothers: Wesley Smith of Olney, and Donnie Smith and wife Cheryl of Pottsboro, Texas; one sister: Teresa Popp and huband Charles of Olney, Texas; and three nephews: Jimmy Smith and Kameron Popp both of Olney, and Dillon Smith of Lewisville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to any Animal Humane Society.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
