Jimmie Lee Knight, 80, died on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 3, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at Southside Baptist Church in Olney with Andy Graham, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Jimmie was born on February 1, 1932, in Olney Texas, to the late Virgil and Alice Abbott Heard. She was a lifetime resident of Olney. Jimmie was a homemaker, and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She married Deleburn D. Knight on April 10, 1955, in Huntsville, Texas. She was a graduate of Olney, Texas, class of 1951. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers: O.D. Heard and R.V. Heard.

Jimmie is survived by three sons, Derrell Knight of Olney, Johnny Knight and wife Shari of Amarillo, Texas, Lynn Knight and wife Mary of Wichita Falls, Texas one daughter, Norma Knight of Olney: four grandchildren, Ty Knight, Jadyn Knight, Kassidy Knight and Ashlynn Knight.
