JImmy L. Wilson

Jimmy Wilson, age 82, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, at United Regional Healthcare Center in Wichita Falls, Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Lunn Funeral Home, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Dr. Chad Edgington officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Jimmy was born on July 26, 1944, in Seymour, Texas, to the late James and Dollie (Bell) Wilson. He married Jimmie Scott on July 2, 1991, in Seymour, Texas. Jimmy was known as a very nice man and was known all over town as a hard worker, as he mowed many lawns for several residents in Olney. He worked at Central Packing for more than 30 years. Jimmy served 20 years in the United States Army. He always took very good care of and made sure to provide for Jimmie, his wife of 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, James Wilson.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jimmie Wilson of Olney, Texas; his three sons: Jimmy Jay Wilson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tommy Tubb of Olney, Texas, and Steve Scott of Olney, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Hudson and her husband, Jimmy of Olney, Texas; his nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
