Joann Middaugh Wilton, age 72, died Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Restland Cemetery in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Joann was born on December 21, 1946 in Olney, Texas to the late Murril and Mammie Beatrice (Baxter) Middaugh. She married Norvell Wilton on December 29, 1971 in Olney and was a lifetime resident. She was retired from Haggar Slacks after twenty-five years of faithful employment. She was a member of First Baptist Church and loved her church family and Wednesday night fellowship. She had a passion for cooking for others. Joann loved camping and spending time with her family, and her grandkids made her world complete.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Janice Reeves, a brother, Wayne Middaugh, and a sister, Wanda Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, LaRhonda Glaze of Olney; two sons, Joe Lee Glaze of Burkburnett and Bobby Carl Glaze of Megargel; two step-daughters, Letha Young and husband Jason of Graham and Terri Cruit and husband Johnny of Mt. Vernon; four sisters, Laverne Rainwater of Wichita Falls, Dana June of Graham, Glenda Dugan of Henrietta and Ruby Tanner of Dallas; one brother, Bobby Middaugh of Eastland; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
