Mrs. JoAnne Morgan Hunt, age 91, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Olney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Harrell Braddock, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

JoAnne was born on January 17, 1927 in Childress, Texas to the late C.V. "Bink" Morgan and Nadine Sherwood Morgan. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri as well as Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She enjoyed her bridge club and spending time in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest W. Hunt in May, 1993; a sister, Nancy Morgan Eiland in July, 2013; and a brother, Carthage V. "Sonny" Morgan, Jr. in 1929.

JoAnne is survived by her daughter, K. Ann Hunt Schriver of Dallas, Texas; her son, Ernest W. Hunt, Jr. of Seymour, Texas; three nieces, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
