Joetta Lynn Stewart Morgan, 63, of North Richland Hills, Texas departed for her heavenly home on Friday, April 19, 2024. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcastle Cemetery with Reverend Dave Bigley, pastor of Newcastle Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.

She was born in Weatherford, Texas on August 16, 1960 to Bob and Colleen Stewart of Hurst, Texas.  Joetta was a 1978 graduate of L.D. Bell High School in Hurst and was a member of the marching band.   She worked in retail and the insurance industry.

Joetta had the voice of an angel and a great love of music.  She and her husband Eddie were members of several country bands that played at senior dances throughout the Metroplex.   She lifted the spirits of many who came to listen and dance.  She also sang at churches, jamborees and special events with the Morgan Family.  She loved her home and family and her special kitties.

In 2000, Joetta married the love of her life, Eddie Morgan in a small but beautiful ceremony at her mother's home.   They loved to go to concerts, travel, and enjoyed their special times at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Colleen Stewart.   Joetta's memory will be honored and cherished by her husband Eddie, her mother-in-law Shirley Morgan, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gene and Cathy Everitt, and her nephew Morgan Everitt and other friends and relatives.   Joetta will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and her loving heart and wonderful smile.
