John Edwin Ballew, age 73, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at his residence in Lubbock, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

John was born on April 1, 1943 in Graham, Texas to Elbert Stephenson and Ovie Adele Ballew. He graduated from Olney High School in 1961. He was a grocery store manager

He is survived by three Daughters and one Son-In-Law; Michele and Michael Colvin of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Shelia Gage and Tina Ballew, both of Lubbock, Texas; one
Sister and Brother-In-Law, Sue and Joe Dykes of Duncanville, Texas; one Niece, Leslye Grant and her husband Daniel of Cedar Hill, Texas; one Nephew, Mark and his Wife Lisa Dykes of Austin, Texas. Nine Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren also survive.

John was preceded in death by his Parents; Elbert Stephenson Ballew and Ovie Adele Ballew Stewart.
