John Bagley, Jr., age 90, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Jean Cemetery, Jean, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

John was born August 5, 1922 to the late John Ed and Lydia (Barfield) Bagley, Sr. in San Antonio, Texas. He and Runez Jeter were married October 9, 1959 in Olney, Texas. They moved to Olney, Texas from Dallas, Texas in 1966. John was a painting contractor and worked in construction and was a member of the Jean Methodist Church in Jean, Texas. John was a veteran of The United States Navy and served in World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. John was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Bill Bagley and Gene Bagley; and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Runez Bagley of Olney, Texas; one son, Joe Bagley and wife Debbie of Olney, Texas; two daughters: Kendra K. Bagley of Stamford, Texas and Rhue Manes and husband Mike of Graham, Texas; four Grandchildren: Melissa Miller and husband Trey of Keller, Texas, Rachel Finch and husband Matt of Keller, Texas, Derek Bagley and wife Lauren of Olney, Texas, and Zach Bagley of Olney, Texas: two Great-Grandchildren: Bryce and Christian Miller: four other Grandchildren, eight other Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
